Pinnacle Peak, Arizona, is a neighborhood in the city of Scottsdale in the south-central region of the state, in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. The neighborhood is about 15 miles north of downtown Scottsdale and about 30 miles northeast of Phoenix. The community is just west of the McDowell Mountain range and park, and it is not far from the Rio Verde master-planned adult community.

Many Pinnacle Peak homes lie in the Pinnacle Peak real estate neighborhoods including Pinnacle Vista, Desert Vista, Windy Walk Estate, Desert Crest at Troon Ridge and the Estates at Miramonte. It is also very near to the The Golf Club Scottsdale, and is just east of the Cave Buttes Recreational Area and the Cave Creek Recreation Area. The community is named after the Pinnacle Peak mountain of the same name. The area is considered a part of the North Scottsdale part of the city.

The Sky Harbor International Airport offers a multitude of international and national commercial flights, and there are several hospitals nearby in Scottsdale, including a branch of the renowned Mayo Clinic.

Nearby in Scottsdale are a wealth of attractions: the city is a huge tourist destination, bringing in more than 7 million visitors annually, and the tourism industry employs around 40% of Scottsdale's residents.
